Week 5 Report Card:
Offense: B-
The Bills offense statistically had a pretty good day. Stef and Gabe both with at least 100 yds receiving and a touchdown. It seemed like most of that came in a futile effort to come back late in the 4th quarter. Running game really struggled. The Bills offense looked tired and inconsistent early on. Key Gabe drop on what would've been a much needed first down. Penalties, penalties, penalties.
Defense: B
Only giving up 25 points (11 in the first half) with the amount of injuries the defense had. Not to mention the lifeblood of the unit, Matt Milano, going down with what would be diagnosed as a season-ending broken leg injury. AJ Epenesa could be the most underrated pass-rusher in the NFL. We missed Greg Rosseau and the depth Shaq Lawson provided.
Special Teams: B
Not much action to speak of outside of Sam Martin's 6 punts. About a 43 yd average. Not too bad.
Bills look to get back in the win column next week as they face the Giants on Sunday Night Football
